This is the first in a series of updates about auto-enrolment, produced by the DLA Piper Pensions Team.
Auto-enrolment will affect every employer in Great Britain and concerns compulsory workplace pension provision. Each update in the series will focus on the different steps employers will need to take in order to comply with their auto-enrolment duties.
This update deals with the categorisation of an employer's workforce for the purposes of determining whether an employee is entitled or eligible for auto-enrolment and employer pension contributions.
